On the way to Ihlara Valley a bit off the beaten path in Cappadocia, you will find Guzelyurt and a wealth of historical sites. If you are making a second trip to Cappadocia, I highly recommend taking time for this area in Aksaray province. This church is visible for miles around. I wrote more about his here.
