6 Options for Camping in Cappadocia

6. GREEN HOTEL & CAMPING
This site is located in Çavuşin and provides some grass for camping but cannot be called a campground as they simply make space available on the front lawn of the hotel. Nevertheless I regularly see tents and RVs on my morning walks so I thought it was worth including. Be sure to ask the owner the story of how he came to own the place. It involves his team losing a soccer match. They have no pool but do have a mini petting zoo. And unlike Dolunay, the Green Hotel is quite nice, and I would recommend staying there.

PRICE:
Tent/RV = 15TL/Person (this is negotiable)
Laundry = ?
Kitchen facilities = free use
Restaurant & Market = No market, prices vary in the restaurant
Included = toilets, shower, internet
FACILITIES
The grassy area is nice and most of the facilities are inside the hotel. On the edge of the lawn they keep animals like sheep, chickens, ducks, turkeys, dogs, cats, and a rabbit. The hotel sits at the base of the upper Çavuşin church/cliffs which provides a nice atmosphere.
SWIMMING POOL
No

INTERNET & LAUNDRY
Internet is free, and I am not sure what they do about laundry.
RESTAURANT & KITCHEN & MARKET
They do not have a market but there is one within a few hundred meters. The restaurant is excellent as it is used for the hotel guests and kitchen facilities are available inside and outside.
ELECTRICITY HOOKUPS
No electricity is readily available although I expect they will hook something up if requested.
SEASON & MANAGEMENT
They are open year round.
TENTS & RVs
Both are welcome but they can only hold a few as the space is quite limited.
