1. GOREME CAMPING
Opened in 1992 Göreme Camping offers Cappadocia visitors a unique experience with the only pool in the region that has two water slides. The campground is located outside of Göreme a few hundred meters off the road to the Open-Air Museum (first left after the Tourist Hotel). The facilities are clean and run by a wonderful local family.
PRICE:
Tent = 12TL/Person
RV = 5-6 Euro depending on different variables like size, # of people, and length of stay
Laundry = 5kg load for 5 Euro
Kitchen facilities = free use with your own stove but if you use their stove it is 2 Euro per day
Restaurant & Market = prices vary depending on what you order/buy
Included = Pool, toilets, shower, electricity, internet
FACILITIES
Both individual sites and open spaces for multiple tents are available. Plenty of trees but not grass.

25 meter pool with two water slides.
INTERNET & LAUNDRY
Internet is free and a 5kg washing machine is available but the guests cannot use it on their own. You give your dirty clothes to them and pay 5 Euro per load. They will return your washed clothes to you. (This is the case with every facility.)
RESTAURANT & KITCHEN & MARKET
They make basic dishes like grilled-cheese sandwiches (Turkish: Tost). The kitchen facilities are clean and adequate. To use their stove is 2 Euro per day. The market has basic items.
ELECTRICITY HOOKUPS
Each site has a box with at least two plugs.
SEASON & MANAGEMENT
They are open from March 1st to October 30 and the week around new years. They live here so if you want to camp in February, just write them and make a reservation. They will open for you.
TENTS & RVs
Both are welcome.
Order food or hang out and check e-mail while drinking a cup of tea.
Even large groups can cook a meal and eat together.
No grass but plenty of room for RV and tents alike.
